End User License Agreement

MedView — Professional DICOM Viewer

IMPORTANT: By downloading, installing, or using MedView, you agree to be bound by the terms of this End User License Agreement ("EULA"). If you do not agree, do not use the application.

1. License Grant

DoiTech International ("Licensor") grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use MedView ("the App") on devices you own or control, subject to the terms of this EULA and any applicable platform terms (such as the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions or Google Play Terms of Service).

MedView is a DICOM file viewer and is NOT a certified medical device. It is not intended for clinical diagnosis, treatment planning, or any purpose requiring regulatory clearance (such as FDA 510(k), CE marking, or equivalent).

The App is provided as a viewing and educational tool. Do not rely on it for clinical decision-making. Always use certified, validated medical imaging software for diagnostic purposes.

The Licensor makes no warranty regarding the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of any DICOM rendering, annotation, measurement, or reconstruction displayed by the App.

The App includes access to a free demo PACS server for evaluation and testing purposes. By using the demo server, you acknowledge and agree that:

5. In-App Purchases

The App offers optional in-app purchases to unlock additional features. All purchases are non-consumable and may be restored on devices signed in with the same account. Pricing is determined by the applicable app store. Refunds are subject to the policies of the platform provider (Apple, Google, etc.).

The App, including all code, graphics, interfaces, and documentation, is the intellectual property of DoiTech International and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. This EULA does not grant you any rights to trademarks, trade names, or service marks of the Licensor.

The App incorporates DCMTK (DICOM Toolkit), developed by OFFIS e.V., Oldenburg, Germany, released under a BSD-style license.

7. Data and Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy. The App stores data locally on your device and does not transmit data to our servers. PACS connections are made directly between your device and the server you configure.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

The Licensor does not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL DOITECH INTERNATIONAL BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE APP.

In particular, the Licensor shall not be liable for any clinical decisions made based on information displayed by the App.

10. Termination

This EULA is effective until terminated. Your rights under this license will terminate automatically without notice if you fail to comply with any of its terms. Upon termination, you must cease all use of the App and delete all copies.

11. Governing Law

This EULA shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Australia, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. Any disputes arising from this EULA shall be resolved in the courts of New South Wales, Australia.

12. Changes to This EULA

The Licensor reserves the right to modify this EULA at any time. Updated terms will be posted at this URL and reflected in subsequent app updates. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
