The main mobilepos program and WiFi/CDMA/GSM/internet sync module are free of charge. You only need to purchase those modules you need!

IMPORTANT: PocketPC user!

 

You can sync your mobilepos via the cable or wireless network. Please do the below setting

1) Ensure you see a mp icon beside your computer clock. If not, click start->doitech->start mp server.

2) In PDA mobilepos, tap Tools-> Config Connection

3) Tap the address field, enter your computer IP address. You can get your IP address by double click your network icon beside your computer clock, followed by support tab. E.g. 192.168.1.100

4) Tap ok button to save the IP address.

5) On PDA, tap tools->connect server. You should get a success message.

6) On PDA, tap tools->sync to server to start downloading data.

 

For QB 2003 user:

 

Install the components at http://www.doitech.com/default_files/2002QB.htm before continue. QB basic version is not supported.

 

How to Activation:

 

After you have installed mobilepos, please activate it. Please note activation only works if you have paid for the modules. If you want to try the free version of mobilepos, please skip the below activation steps.

 

1) Click the mp tray icon beside your computer time

2) Select Activate Product -> Auto Activate Product

 

To download mobilepos, double click mobilepos 30mb installation

The file size is 30MB, takes 7 min for a broadband connection.

 

Installation

 

1) Download the installation file above.

 

2) Open QuickBooks with your company file throughout the installation.

 

3) Maintain Connection between your PDA and Desktop throughout the installation. 

 

Tap PDA Activesync -> tools -> options -> PC tab -> options -> Maintain connection -> Start Activesync  

 

4) Shutdown any firewall.  MobilePos will act as a server to your PDA. You can configure your firewall later once MobilePos is working fine.

 

5) Run MobilePosSetup.exe.  You should see "QB Application with No certificate" dialog appear in QuickBooks. Choose "yes, always allow".

 

6) Add the setting in QuickBooks -> Edit ->Preferences -> Integrated Application -> Company Preference -> DoiTech Connector -> Properties -> Tick "Allow application to log in automatically"->Login as Admin

 

7) MobilePos will start automatically. You should see a small MP logo on the lower right corner of your computer screen beside the time. If you don't, stop immediately and email sales@doitech.com.

 

8) Mobilepos will automatically download minimal essential QB data to your PDA. If it does not, please do as follow: Tap PDA MobilePos-> Tool-> Config connection-> type in your local PC address. Obtain your PC IP address by select desktop start, run, type cmd and press enter. Type ipconfig and enter. e.g. 192.168.0.100 Alternatively, you can get your local ip address by double click the network icon beside your desktop time, and click support tab.

 

9) You do not need to open QuickBooks for future synchronization.

 

10) Start learning to use mobilepos at http://www.doitech.com/default_files/Page1397.htm
