Setup mobilepos as instructed on our support page

1. Check customer balance.  With your PDA in the cradle, tap customer menu, customer icon, download icon (the green curve button). Then input a customer name via the dropdown list. Tap Query and Detail buttons to view customer information.

2. Create and print an invoice. On PDA tools-> Config-> Use Server Print is ticked. Tab customer menu-> invoice-> Enter name-> save-> double tab name field-> select item -> tab green tick -> print.

3. WiFi/Internet sync. Tab tools-> Config Connection-> Auto Config-> tab No-> Ok-> Vendor -> download. Go to your favorite Starbuck or any public with free WiFi internet access, Tab tools-> Config Connection-> Enter your computer IP address-> ok-> Vendor -> download

 

If you are using 2003, you have to download 2002QB.zip. Please note only QB 2003 and above can work with MobilePos.

 

1. Open QuickBooks with company file

2. Unzip 2002QB.zip to a new folder

3. Install QBXMLRP2Installer.exe

4. Double click SDKTestPlus3.exe.

5. Click Browse and select CustomerQuery-2002.xml

6. Click Open Connection -> Begin Session -> Send XML -> End Session -> Close Connection

7. Start -> All Program -> Doitech -> Start MobilePos server. MobilePos will be running.

 

 

 

1. When mobilepos is running, you can switch to other program by pressing any of the four hard button on your PDA.

2. You can install your mobilepos on your PDA storage card instead of the main memory to save PDA running memory.

3. WiFi synchronization is no longer an option with Microsoft ActiveSync 4 (Click here to read more) The good news is that Mobilepos users will still enjoy the convenience of WiFi and internet sync to QB because mobilepos relies mainly on web service technology instead of Activesync.

4. To add new customer, you can type the name and tab save on a new invoice. You can also add new customer at the customer module. Type a new customer name and tap the query button.

5. There are 3 ways to sync. (1) on pda, tab mobilepos tools->syncronise (2) tab invoice module and list (icon beside the save button), tab upload (a green upward curve arrow) (3) on pda mp, tab tools->config->enable activesync. When you activesync, it will auto call mobilepos to upload invoice to QB. Which way is the best depends on your need of auto sync or manual sync.

6. You have the option not need to assign invoice number to a new invoice. When upload invoice, QB will auto assign a invoice number to the new invoice.

8. Add Logo to your invoice and PO by 1) click the mp icon beside your pc time 2) select system configuration 3) add your company logo file.
